Silver handbags are leaving the remnant of party bags and adopting all kinds of shapes and sizes for everyday use.
One of the key trends for 2023 is the silver tone and silver handbags. Of all shapes and sizes, leaving behind the traditional formula of the Christmas and New Year's party bag and replacing the number one metallic, which until now was gold. Some say that it was time to celebrate the end of the pandemic and that silver has been the chosen colour.

“In 2023 we have seen a resurgence of the silver tone, which previously seemed limited to small and party bags. Now we can find bags of all sizes, the silver trend has spread to all seasons and has overtaken gold, which was traditionally number one,” explains Laura Gómez, designer and head of Juan-Jo Gallery.
The explanation for this phenomenon, in her opinion, may include several factors. “Trends have to change because fashion demands it. In the case of silver, which is a bright, elegant and cheerful tone, there is probably a deeper element. After more than two years of pandemic, the world wanted to go out and party. And silver was the chosen one. It is fresh during the day and fits perfectly with any evening event. It is a good fashion tip.”
